LARKSPUR MARINA
Three views of the tide.
The astronomical tide, the forecast, and what the water actually did.
Dots label each day’s highest available tide. * Observed high so far today. Scroll the chart sideways for longer ranges.

Sources & how to read this chart
One area, three nearby sources. These curves support understanding water conditions around Larkspur Lagoon. Bon Air measures the creek; Point San Quentin models the nearby Bay. Neither directly measures water inside the lagoon or predicts flooding at individual properties.
Forecasts as they were known. Each tide runs from one astronomical low to the next. We choose the newest SFBOFS forecast published before that tide began, and freeze that run for the whole wave. Future tides use the newest run currently available. Hover to see its publication time. Small breaks separate different runs. We never substitute a later nowcast for an earlier forecast.
A common elevation reference. Bon Air reports NAVD88. SFBOFS is converted with NOAA’s Point San Quentin model datum grid. The astronomical curve uses NOAA VDatum’s modeled conversion from Corte Madera Creek MLLW. This is not a surveyed alignment between sites. Heights are elevations, not water depth above a road.
Honest gaps. Gauge gaps longer than 20 minutes stay open. Original forecast archives can be missing; if we cannot verify a forecast’s publication before a tide, we leave that portion blank. Long ranges simplify the drawn curves while preserving peaks; the table and CSV retain source samples.
